Tim Lefebvre moved from out of New York City into New York City in 1995, because he is a diverse musician on both acoustic and electric bass. Word must have spread to him that you can actually make a buck as a decent bass player there, and so he came and conquered with a vengeance. He does a great job making anything sound fabulous, from funk to jazz to rock and even electronic music. In addition to his high-level bass playing, he has produced his own drum 'n' bass outfit Boomish, and is presently bassist for the Wayne Krantz Trio, Bill Evans and Push.

He has also appeared on CNN, German National Television, and BET on Jazz.
